Students enrolled in our English as a Second Language (ESL) program will find a teaching team dedicated to their success both inside and outside of the classroom. UW-Marinette is known for its small campus and friendly faculty and staff. With small class sizes and such dedication, instructors can provide you with support when you need it most. Once in academic classes, UW-Marinette also offers English and Math tutoring services. In addition to this, our campus also has several computer labs and a library that is connected to 25 other campus libraries in the University of Wisconsin System.

As a student at UW-Marinette you will be matched to a family in our local community. We call this your Friendship Family. These dedicated volunteers provide you with a connection to the Marinette community and support you throughout your first year. Friendship Families do this by participating in campus and community events and even providing you with a short homestay experience when you first arrive. This unique program gives international students a great opportunity to make friends both on and off campus!
