UW-Marinette Concurrent Enrollment
The UW-Marinette Concurrent Enrollment Program fosters partnerships between our university campus and regional high schools in an effort to enhance the educational opportunities for students in our area. Through these partnerships, students at some area high schools can enroll for both high school and college credit when they take certain classes during their high school career.
Please click on the links below to learn more about the program.
Information for Administrators and Prospective Teachers
Administrators: If we have not yet established a partnership with your high school, we would love to meet with you to explain more about the program. Please contact our Campus Dean, Paula Langteau, or call 715-735-4339 to set up a time to meet. You will find here some general information about the Concurrent Enrollment Program which we will be happy to walk through with you when we meet.
Teachers: If you are a teacher at a high school with which we already have an existing partnership and you’re interested in learning more about the Concurrent Enrollment Program, please contact our Associate Campus Dean, Jennifer Flatt, or call 715-735-4332 to learn more.
Review Process: Review of potential instructors for our partnership takes place in two phases: instructor credentials and curricular offerings. First, the UW Colleges Department will look at a resume and undergraduate/graduate transcripts from a potential instructor. Should that instructor be approved to teach in the UW Colleges, a review of the curriculum of the proposed course would be undertaken. Further information about the process can be found in the Protocol/Process below as well as the UW System Statute 36.
