Ron BealRon Beal - Sophomore

Home town: Chicago, IL

Ron will be the starting point guard this season.  He played solid basketball last year and made an extremely strong push at the end of the season.  He averaged about 5 points and 2 assists per game through last season but was in double figures for points down the final stretch of the season.  Ron played high school basketball at John Marshall.  During AAU basketball he averaged 16.2 points and 5.2 assists per game. 

Jonte WellsJonte Wells - Sophomore 
Ht: 6-0; Guard & Co-Captain
Home town: Marinette

Jonte was named to second team All-Conference and was the team MVP last year.  He averaged 12 points and 5 rebounds per game last season.  He will again be a key player this season.  He is able to attack the basket and score from the outside.  Defensively, he will be one of the top on the ball defenders on the team.  His quick hands should get him plenty of steals this season.   Jonte played varsity basketball and baseball at St. Joseph High School.  Following his senior season, Jonte led his AAU basketball team in scoring at 16.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game. 

Austin BiehlAustin Biehl - Freshman

Austin played through his junior year of high school as point guard and shooting guard.  Austin is working hard as he returns to playing competitive basketball.  He was a solid football player in high school and was named Bay Area Player of the Week.  Austin is a very good student.

 

Devonte CoeDevonte Coe - Freshman

Devonte was a member of the Proviso East state runner-up team as a senior in high school.  Devonte will be a contributor at the wing position this season.  He works hard attacking the basket and loves the outside shot.

 

Tom ConineTom Conine - Freshman

Home town: Bark River Harris

Tom played two years of varsity basketball.  He worked extremely hard on his own and with some of his teammates during the preseason to improve his skills.  Tom is a good shooter and is working to improve his ball handling skills.  He could be a contributor at point guard and shooting guard this season.

Anthony DunbarAnthony Dunbar - Freshman

Tony had a successful high school career as a three year varsity starter.  As a freshman he was named the MVP and was Most Improved as a sophomore and junior.  Tony is a strong inside player who should be a strong contributor this season.  He will score, rebound and defend with the best of them in the post.

 

Greg FlemingGreg Fleming - Freshman

Home town: Chicago

Greg was a three year starter in high school leading the conference in scoring as a junior and senior.  He was a 1st Team All-Conference selection as a senior.  As a sophomore, Greg was named the team’s Most Improved Player and as a senior he was his team’s Most Valuable Player and was given the Best Attitude Award for his team.

Michael HeiseMichael Heise - Sophomore

Home town: Rhinelander

Michael was a varsity starter for two years with the Twin City Eagles.  He was captain of the team and named an All-State player twice.  In addition he was an All-State Tournament player and received the Christian Character Award.  He played for a state championship during his senior year and led the team in scoring as a junior.  Michael should be a strong contributor to the team this season.

Kevin JuetteKevin Juette - Freshman

Home town: Chicago, IL

Kevin moved up to the varsity team as a high school sophomore and played point guard.  As a senior, his team played at the state tournament.  Kevin will have an opportunity to play the point guard position this season.  He is very good at attacking the basket.

 

Shaqell MullinShaqell Mullin - Freshman

Home town: Chicago, IL

Shaq’s team finished second at the state tournament two years in a row.  He is a good all around player who will be a solid defender and should provide some scoring this year.  He can attack the basket and shoot from the perimeter. 

 

Terrell PollardTerrell Pollard - Freshman 

Ht: 6-1; Forward
Home town: Wausau

Terrell played baseball for North Central University in Minneapolis but has decided to switch to basketball this year.  He has not played organized ball for a few years so he is working on getting reacquainted with the game.  He is an athletic player and a hard worker who should help the team as the year progresses.  Terrell is a very positive and supportive teammate who has excellent leadership skills.

Gage RamingerGage Raminger - Freshman

Home town: Marinette

Gage played two years of varsity basketball for Marinette High School.  He was a very good defensive player who was always matched up against the other team’s top player.  Gage also played varsity football and won the 4X100 meter relay at the State Track and Field Meet.  Gage is a hard worker and his solid defensive skills could lead to opportunities for him.

Brendan ThomasBrendan Thomas - Freshman
Ht: 5-10; Guard
Home town: Hortonville

Brendan was a two year player for Hortonville playing both the point guard and off guard position.  He was 2nd Team All-Conference his senior year averaging 10 points per game.  As a senior, Brendan helped his team to the sectional finals with a win over highly ranked West DePere.

Casey WilsonCasey Wilson - Freshman
Ht: 6-4; Forward
Home town: Stephenson, MI

Casey was a three year starter for Stephenson High School.  He averaged 14 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals per game.  He was named Most Improved player and was the team’s leading rebounder.  Casey will be counted on for scoring, rebounding and defense in the post this season.  He has lots of potential and has been working hard to show what he can do on the court.
