Jordan Berth - Freshman
Height: 6-3; Forward
Home town: Peshtigo

Jordan was a four year varsity player for Peshtigo. They were undefeated in conference play all four years.  Individually, Jordan led his team in rebounds, steals and blocked shots. He was a 1,000 point scorer for his career and was named Honorable Mention on the Division 3 All-State team. Along with his teammate Zack Neumann, Jordan was named Co-Player of the Year in the M & O Conference. Jordan will be a solid inside player who is capable of stepping out onto the perimeter. He is an excellent defender and rebounder. 

 

Champeau

Travis Champeau - Freshman 
Height: 5-9; Guard 
Home town: Menominee

Travis played point guard and shooting guard on his high school varsity team as a junior and senior. Travis currently holds his high school’s record with 10 3-point baskets in one game. He plans to carry over his successful shooting in high school to the Buccaneers this season. Travis has not decided on a degree but is leaning toward something in business.

 

Conine

Tom Conine - Sophomore 
Height: 6-0; Guard & Team Captain
Home town: Bark River Harris

Tom played in 22 games for the Buccaneers last season. His hard work and dedication earned him Most Improved Player award last season. Tom continued to work hard in the off-season to improve his individual skills. Tom will be one of the team captains this season. Tom is an Eagle Scout. 

 

Heath

Trent Heath - Freshman 
Height: 5-11; Guard 
Home town: Pembine

Trent was a four year starter for Goodman-Pembine. His team was undefeated in conference play during Trent’s senior season. Trent was named Honorable Mention on the Division 3 All-State team following his senior season. He was First Team All-Conference as a junior and senior and Second Team All-Conference as a freshman and sophomore.

 

LepakGeorge Lepak - Freshman
Height: 6-6; Forward
Home town: DePere

George was unable to play basketball during his senior season because of injury so he is working to get back into top form again. George is a solid inside player who works extremely hard on the boards. He will be a solid post defender for the Bucs this season. George is an Eagle Scout.

 

MaleckiAustin Malecki - Freshman 
Height: 6-2; Forward/Guard
Home town: Coleman

Austin played on his high school varsity team all four years and was a starter since his sophomore season. His best memories of his high school play include hitting game winning shots as a junior and senior. He was Honorable Mention All-Conference as a junior and team Most Valuable Player as a junior and senior. He continues to work on the family farm while attending school.

 

NeumannZach Neumann - Freshman 
Height: 6-2; Guard
Home town: Peshtigo

Zack played on the varsity for four years. They were undefeated in conference play all four years.  He was a 1,000 point scorer. Along with his teammate Jordan Berth, Zack was named Co-Player of the Year in the M & O Conference.  Zack is a versatile player who can score inside and outside. He will also be a solid defender for the Bucs.

 

Pettit

Aaron Pettit - Sophomore 
Height: 6-2; Guard & Team Captain
Home town: Marinette

Aaron returns to UW–Marinette after playing last season at Wisconsin Lutheran College. As a freshman at UW – Marinette, Aaron averaged 15.1 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. He was named to the WCC All-Conference Second Team. Aaron should return as a significant contributor to the Buccaneers this season.  Aaron loves most outdoor activities, especially fishing. Aaron will be one of the team captains this year.

 

PowersKiefer Powers - Freshman
Height: 6-1; Guard
Home town: Marinette

Kiefer played varsity basketball for four years at St. Thomas Aquinas Academy. He was First Team All-Conference as a junior and senior. Kiefer was a 1,000 point scorer in high school. Kiefer should be a solid player on both ends of the floor for the Buccaneers.

 

RivardJared Rivard - Freshman
Height: 5-11; Guard
Home town: Menominee

Jared played most positions on the basketball court in high school. He was an All-Conference performer as a junior and senior. He led his team in points (14.1), rebounds (7.0) and blocks as a senior. Jared was also a standout football player earning Offensive MVP honors in the UP All Star football game and All-State recognition as a defensive back. Jared’s hustle on the court will earn him plenty of opportunities for the Buccaneers. Jared made the Dean’s List at Northern Michigan as a freshman last year.

 

ThomasBrendan Thomas - Sophomore
Height: 5-10; Guard & Team Captain
Home town: Hortonville

Brendan joined the Buccaneers in the second semester last season. He was an immediate contributor averaging 10.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. Brendan should be a key contributor at the guard position this season as he is a threat to score from the perimeter or by attacking the basket. Brendan will be one of the team captains this season. Brendan is majoring in Business Marketing.

 

WilsonCasey Wilson - Sophomore
Height: 6-4; Forward & Team Captain
Home town: Stephenson, MI

Casey averaged 10.0 points and 7.8 rebounds per game last season. He should continue to be a major player in the paint for the Buccaneers. He is a solid performer on both ends of the court. Casey loves the outdoors. Casey will be one of the team captains this year.
