Statement 

Since 2008, Jason Flatt has been an instructor for the UW-MarinetteContinuing Education program in Shipbuilding. He joined the mathematics department faculty in fall of 2013. Previously, he worked as a naval architect for the Marinette Marine Corporation. He has also had internships with Stolt Parcel Tankers and the American Bureau of Shipping in Houston, Texas; The Matson Navigation Company on the west coast and the Westport Shipyard in the state of Washington. In addition to his degrees in naval architecture, Flatt has a masters degree in historic preservation.
