The West Shore Chorale, under the direction of UW-Marinette Associate Professor of Music David Giebler, is seeking new singers who would like to join the group for a performance of W. A. Mozart’s Requiem. The concert is scheduled for Sunday, April 17at 3:00 p.m. at the Meyer Theater in Green Bay.
Tryouts for singers who are new to the group will he held on Tuesday, January 26th at 6:30 p.m. at the UW-Marinette campus in room T-117 in the Fine Arts building. Rehearsals leading to the performance will be on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. starting February 2. The final rehearsals in Green Bay will be on April 14and 15 at 7:00 p.m. and at 1:00 p.m. before the performance.

The West Shore Chorale is a choral group of about 30 singers from both the UW-Marinette campus and the community at large, and has served the community with performances in local venues for more than 30 years.
UW-Marinette is a freshman/sophomore campus of the University of Wisconsin system and offers a variety of courses that are the foundation for more than 250 majors.
