Throughout the year, College 4 Kids offers exciting educational hands-on experiences for students. Our courses allow students to explore a wide variety of topics such as Art, Music, Science, Theatre and everything in between on a real college campus. Class sizes are limited to provide students with a more personalized experience. Our instructors are professionals who are highly skilled and knowledgeable in their fields.

¡Hola, amigos! Join us in Spanish for Kids to learn through fun and creative games, songs, and activities. We will focus on basic language like greetings, numbers, colors, and clothing in an interactive and collaborative environment that will foster active learning. 

Bethany Welch is a UW-Marinette alumna who joined the faculty in the fall of 2008. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from UW-Green Bay, where she minored in Spanish, German and Public Administration. She went on to receive a Master's degree in Translation from the Foreign Language and Literature Department at UW-Milwaukee. She teaches Spanish and the Intensive English Program for International Students at UW-Marinette.

Additional Session Information

Cool Paper Crafts will include making decorative paper from recycled materials, designing handmade cards, creating wrapping paper with stamps and paint, personalized bookmarks, paper collages, and decorating with paper.

Lunch included

Ivy Sutek is a student at UW Marinette majoring in Elementary Education. She has been crafting with her own children for 13 years, and loves to see kids applying their own creative touch on a project. Ivy's personal favorite art past time is traditional and digital scrap-booking.

Learn everything from close up magic tricks to large stage illusions and learn how to perform them!

College 4 Kids Camp Assistant Opportunity

UW-Marinette is seeking local middle and high school students to help out at College 4 Kids by being Summer Camp Assistants. This is a great way for students to be a part of a longstanding youth program which can open doors for them in the future. Interested students can complete the  application below.  Please contact Rebecca Schoenebeck, Continuing Education Program Specialist at 715-735-4300 xt 4342 with any questions.  

Time commitment is for a minimum of one week. Students can apply for additional weeks if their summer schedule allows.
