University of Wisconsin-Marinette

Credit Agreement (Partial Payment Plan)

Students electing to participate in an installment plan must complete the Credit Agreement Form and submit it to Business Services with a minimum $225 down payment. If you would like a copy of your agreement, please make a copy for your records before returning it to Business Services.

The Credit Agreement is a contract with UW-Marinette/UW Colleges. It is a legal document and therefore, you must be 18 years old at the time of signing. Proof of birth is required; a driver's license, birth certificate or other legal document showing birth date is needed. If a student is not 18 years or older, a parent or legal guardian must co-sign the document. If a student is 18 years or older, the student must sign the document--a parent may not sign for the student.

The Credit Agreement must be made in person at Business Services by the end of the second week of classes. There is minimum down payment of $225, which includes a one-time non-refundable $25 enrollment charge, payable when you sign the agreement. The Credit Agreement form needs to be completed only once as long as you are a student at UW-Marinette.

The remaining balance is divided into two equal payments (see due dates). There is a late installment fee of $35 for each payment that is late. There is no grace period. Interest is charged at 1.25% per month on the outstanding balance after the last installment payment is due. Withdrawing from the university does not eliminate your legal financial obligation to pay the remaining installments. NOTE: Beginning with the Fall 2008 semester, once the agreement is completed, you will be considered on the plan each subsequent semester as long as you pay the required minimum $225 down payment.
NO PAPER BILLS WILL BE SENT TO STUDENTS.
