May auditions set for the musical 'Little Women'

Theatre on the Bay (TOB) will be holding auditions May 14 and 15, 1 to 5 p.m., for its upcoming production of Little Women: The Musical. Auditions will be held at the Herbert L. Williams Theatre at UW-Marinette. Little Women will be the first show of TOB’s Season 50.

Louisa May Alcott’s captivating novel is brought to life in this musical filled with personal discovery, heartache, hope and love. Little Women follows the adventures of sisters Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy March, and their experiences growing up in Civil War America.

Actors of all genders, ethnicities and levels of experience are encouraged to audition. TOB will be casting as many as 16 actors, including six women and four men in principal roles. Find complete audition information here.

Direction and scenic design for Little Women will be by John Thornberry, with choreography by Barbra Alloy, vocal direction by Leah LaMalfa, lighting design by Lee Bunting, costume design by Annalisa Mines and sound design by Kenan Pulver. Rebecca Stone Thornberry is artistic director of Theatre on the Bay and an assistant professor of communications-theatre arts at UW-Marinette.
